Golden Star Ferries

GOLDEN STAR FERRIES launched its activities in the Greek shipping market in 2011, acquiring one of the most famous Greek Ferries, F/B SUPERFERRY II, in the Rafina – Andros – Tinos – Mykonos route.

The company ‘s main goal existed and still exists the transfer of passengers and vehicles to be done with safety, comfort and consistence.

In 2016 GOLDEN STAR FERRIES added to its fleet another luxurious and modern vessel, the F/B SUPERFERRY, which after her full renovation has upgraded the standards in shipping transportation and dominated in Cyclades Line.

The company grows in 2017, investing on the purchase of SUPERRUNNER , a high-speed craft, one of the most popular in her category.

Based in Rafina port, the destinations’ network expands during the summer period with daily calls to Tinos, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Ios and Santorini island.

Despite the times and highly competitive climate, we managed to consolidate our presence in Greek coastal shipping, working methodically and with dedication. Our efforts and our so far contribution to the coastal shipping sector were recognized by the Lloyd’s International Organization with the award of the Passenger Line of the Year 2017.
